NZ at Home was a homestaging company before it was even called homestaging! In the 1990’s Jonathan Ogden a successful real estate salesperson spotted a need for a service to help people add value to their properties before they sold them. Jonathan noticed how hard empty properties were to sell and that when they finally did sell they sold for approx. 10% less than the equivalent furnished home. So Jonathan started furnishing the properties prior to marketing them and a revolution was started! Suddenly the properties sold quicker and at a higher price!! This has been proved many thousands of times all over New Zealand since. To Jonathan it is a proven no brainer, never sell an empty property, if you do you are throwing money away. Homestaging is proven to add many many thousands of dollars more than it costs. Homestaging is spending money to make money.
NZ at Home’s base and showroom at Tavern Rd Silverdale is easily accessible from the motorway. This allows for homestaging far and wide although most of the homestaging work by NZ at Home is coastally located on Aucklands North shore or Rodney District, Whangaparaoa , Millwater, Silverdale , Orewa through to Warkworth and the Matakana Coast/Omaha.
